Healthy Cranberry Sauce

Serves: 8
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 apples, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 oranges, peeled and finely chopped
- ¼ cup honey
- 4 Tbsp butter (or coconut oil)
- 2 Tbsp chopped pecans or walnuts
- In a small saucepan, add butter and let melt.
- Once hot add cranberries, chopped apples, chopped oranges and cook until simmering.
- Add additional butter if needed.
- Continue cooking until fruit begins to break down and softens, add in honey and use a potato masher to break down.
- You can add additional water if needed to thin it up a bit but you will want it thicker
- Remove and stir in chopped nuts.
- Enjoy warm or cold
