While I’d like to tell you that my life is as perfect as it seems on the outside, that would be far from true. Unfortunately this is what social media and media in general has taught us. How we can put on a good face, looking to the world like we got it going on when inside everything could be crumbling. We have no self awareness.

That we really struggle, we’re overcome and ultimately we’re failing simply because what everyone is telling us works doesn’t.

Why? Because we believe everything to be true other than ourselves. I’ve lived this, I know this and I daily struggle with this. Trying to be like someone I’m not. Doing the things they are good at simply because they are successful. But the grim reality is that as long as I try I’ll fail.

Every time I fall on my face simply because what their strengths are, are my weakness. As long as I try to balance on weakness I’ll fall every single time. The struggle is real, you are not alone and the secret is simple.
