Prosciutto, Apple and Caramelized Onion Flatbread

Ingredients
  • 1 Grain Free Flatbread - Find Recipe Here
  • 1 medium Sweet onion
  • 2 Apples
  • 8-10 slices Prosciutto
  • 2 Tbsp butter or coconut oil
  • ⅓ Cup farmers cheese, shredded (optional)
  • DAIRY FREE OPTION
  • ⅓ Cup pizza sauce
Instructions
  1. Make flatbread according to recipe.
  2. Thinly slice onion.
  3. Peel, core and thinly slice apples.
  4. Heat a pan over low-medium heat and add butter or oil.
  5. Once hot, add onions and apples.
  6. Saute until caramelized and tender.
  7. Once flatbread is cooked, top with pizza sauce or cheese, add caramelized onions, apples and proscuitto.
  8. Place back in oven for 5-7 minutes, remove and serve.
