Chai Spiced Paleo Donuts with Vanilla Bean Glaze

- 1¼ cup Almond Flour
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp cardamon
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- 3 eggs (egg replacement for vegan)
- ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 TBS honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 cup powdered coconut sugar
- Beans from 1 vanilla bean (or 1 tsp vanilla)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- Preheat donut maker or oven to 350F.
- Whisk together all dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Combine all wet ingredients in a bowl.
- Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until smooth.
- Spoon dough into donut maker, filling them ⅔ the way.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes and flip. Continue cooking until springy to the touch and slightly browned. DO NOT OVER BAKE!
- If using the oven, bake for 10 minutes.
- To make glaze in a small saucepan over low heat melt coconut oil, powdered sugar, vanilla bean and maple syrup and bring to desired consistency.
- Let cool donuts cool and dip in vanilla glaze.
- Sprinkle or coat with sprinkles.
