Detox Hasselback Sweet Potatoes

- 4 sweet potatoes (small-medium)
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- salt & pepper
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Wash sweet potatoes and cut just a small portion off the bottom so it sits flat.
- Using a sharp knife cut thin slits in the potato ¼" from the bottom.
- Place on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, melt butter.
- Add in olive oil, minced garlic, fresh chopped basil, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt & pepper.
- Pour over potatoes, pushing herbs down in some slits.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes or until tender.
