Healthy Blender Turmeric Chai Latte

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk alternative {I used a unsweetened coconut-almond mixture}
  • 2 black tea bags
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • ¼ tsp ginger
  • ⅛ tsp cardamon
  • 2 tsp honey {optional}
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  1. Heat water and steep tea bags with cinnamon, allspice, ginger and cardomon in tea maker or cup.
  2. {If using a cup you may want to strain out the ground spices}.
  3. Once the tea is steep, strain out the spices and pour in a blender or a jar with a lid.
  4. Add in steamed milk, honey and turmeric. Shake or blend under frothy.
  5. Enjoy!
