We all have a story.
Whether a story of triumph or you’re still sitting in the chapters of hopeless doubt. But one thing we know to be true is that no matter what is being written in your book of life we have a choice in how we deal with it. Because if you’re like 100% of people every where, more than likely your life doesn’t look exactly like you expected.
Or if it does, than be prepared because life doesn’t generally fit into our perfect little plans.
And yet, life is still beautiful isn’t it?
I remember the first time in my adult life when I had this massive tantrum that life wasn’t fair. I had just started my own business and was faced with at what at the time seemed like a big decision. A decision that was going to break relationships and either sabotage my business or grow exponentially. It was a risk but no matter how I looked at it, it just didn’t seem fair that I was even faced with the decision.
Yet that decision shaped what happened next and I’m forever grateful for that.
What I’ve learned and still continue to learn is that I grow the most through brokenness, through change and hard choices. So instead of fearing the life I didn’t choose, I’ve started embracing it, and fully living it. Sometimes (or all of the time) life is going to throw a curve ball at you.
The choice is, how are you going to respond?
