The holidays are here – the most wonderful time of the year. That’s not even sarcasm. I do love everything about the holidays – I mean I love the pool too – but twinkling lights, laughter, lots of parties, what isn’t there to love?
Of course, there is one big problem with the holidays, and that’s what you should be eating.
The food fears that leaves you strapped and starving or binging because you just don’t care.
What if we could come to a happy middle ground where you can enjoy good food without the need to binge in rebellion to deprivation? That’s what today is all about.
On this podcast, I share five quick tips to help you stay healthy through the holidays without worrying about food. Can that get an amen? You can listen to the full episode in just 10 minutes!

the tips
You’ll have to listen to the podcast to get all the tips – because it’s just that good. But one of my favorite tips is to sip on hot teas.
Not only are teas powerful at curbing unnecessary cravings {those that you need for comfort or warmth} but some teas are potent tools in healing your body.
From immunity boosting, detoxifying, energy boost there is a tea that could help you this season. Plus as we’ve talked about in this podcast about seasonality – during the holidays as the temperatures drop {or plummet depending on where you live} our bodies crave warmth and moisture.
Hot tea is a perfect solution for both of those things. And a little steam facial from that piping hot tea never hurt anyone either.

Most importantly, live it. Don’t be constrained by what you should be eating that you can’t enjoy who you’re eating with. The holidays are the season for remembering, family, laughter, and giving. Give yourself a gift of fully embracing the holiday for what it is.
