I was going to post another delicious flatbread recipe but then I realized that I already posted a flatbread this week. By the way did you make that yet? It is a must! At least make that caramel sauce! Oh the ideas I have for putting that on everything! Anyways, enough about food already, right? It’s an obsession….all.day.long I dream about food. –>DEEP BREATH<–
I wanted to give you all a break from the crazy number of flatbread friday posts and jazz things up a bit with a few of my favorite things. I give you full permission to take a little break from your day to do a little internet gazing ->cough shopping<-. Just like window shopping, well without the walking. Man, that makes it sound less healthy. Just ignore that little tid-bit…moving on. I’m always trying to justify internet shopping to the hubs but I haven’t managed to come up with a good enough excuse to spend hours browsing different sites looking at the latest fashions, home decor and of course recipes. I’ll work on it so I can bring you more of these posts all the while getting many dirty looks from the other couch.
Ahem, moving on to this organized fridge. You all know by now that organization is not my forte. I mean I like being organized, I just don’t like to be the one to do it. The weird thing is I may be slightly obsessive about having a clean, tidy and even organized fridge. Strange habits I know, but seriously, it makes prepping, cooking and storing so much easier. Check out this tutorial on how to organize your refrigerator. It does make a difference.
Chalk boards never get old in my opinion. I would love to get the courage to paint an entire wall in chalk board paint. I mean whats a little more mess in this mad house, right? Perfect for menu planning and grocery list making.
Now that fall has hit, the weather is changing, the sun is disappearing and should I say it…winter is coming. This Kleen Kanteen mug is my daily obsession. No other mug compares in my opinion. Insulated, stainless, multiple sizes, perfect lid. You can’t go wrong. A must on a cool fall morning.
Every time I see this quote my heart smiles. I would love to hang this in my daughter’s room so they never forget. They are children of the one true king!
We recently got a Home Goods in our neck of the woods. I know, we are a little behind the times. So of course I rush to my favorite section of any store, the kitchen goods and I found this beauty. An enamel lined, cast iron skillet by Cuisinart. Mine isn’t blue, it is white and it is seriously gorgeous. I have moved all cast-iron recipes to the top of my “to-make” list just because I want to photograph it. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.
The Amazing Race the greatest reality show to ever air on television. This is my dream to be on the Amazing Race. Yep, I believe I have watched every season, studying, admiring, dreaming that one day I will have my chance on the show. The biggest issue though is who I would take with me. My sister and husband both want the opportunity, both having way different sets of skills. I’m not sure yet, maybe we will have to have a mini race to see who is fit enough to race. Of course saying all of this as if I really am going to be on the show some day. One can dream right?
I’ll leave it at that since the hubs is threatening to shut the computer down himself. I hope you were all able to take a small break, sit back and do some internet therapy. Now go enjoy your weekend and someone please go to an apple orchard and enjoy every minute of it for me! Tootles for now and see you Monday with a Hearty Beef Stew!
