Dunking cookies in milk.
Potentially one of the greatest food trends ever.
They were meant for each other. The chewy, slightly sweet goodness of a warm cookie, plus the cool, refreshing hint of a glass of creamy milk.
I know…drool.
Not to mention the fact that cookies and milk could take you back, waaaaaay back to your childhood years. Ahhh, the days of playing hard, not having a care in the world, to come inside to fresh-baked cookies and a cold glass of milk. Sounds story book doesn’t it?
Fast Forward to today, this very moment where we have you the adult version of cookies and milk. Think cookie cups that hold just the right amount of milk to give you all the warm feelings that dunking a cookie does. Eaten with a spoon, because we are adults, and sprinkled with fresh berries. HELLO morning, you are a beautiful thing with this recipe.
The bonus, you can make them ahead and store them for the week. If they happen to last that long, you could even make a double or triple batch and freeze them. Because you all plan ahead…. and prep your food…. and freeze things…. good thought?
SIGH…
I know, life is all about balancing those precious minutes and I get it meal prep and planning might not be at the top.
We will get there, I promise. Good things are in store for the rest of this year.
But for now, just make one pan…and then another…and another. And enjoy the sweet smell of fresh-baked cookie cups, healthy enough to eat for breakfast I might add, topped with some fresh berries and cold creamy milk.
Family friendly, health foodist approved. Double thumbs up.
