As a five, you’re part of the head triad. You spend your energy thinking, planning, imagining, fearing – it’s constant chatter. While you can use this for value as you’re incredibly self-disciplined, you must be careful to overthink and overanalyze yourself. Rather than living stuck in the “worst-case-scenario” mindset, what would happen if you shifted that to your energy levels?
Five’s, you commonly believe that energy is scarce. You only have so much to go around, which is why you spend so much time worrying about how you’ll recharge. But what if you transitioned the perspective that energy is scarce to that of abundance?
Which it truly is.
five’s summer challenge
What would happen if you started to live like energy is in abundance? Would you take a new adventure, start a personal project, or even start to put more emphasis on your health.
But to tap into this abundant energy source, you need to keep your health intentional. I know it’s easy for you to segment your life, even forgetting about your health altogether, including mealtimes.
That’s why your challenge this summer is to be intentional with meal timing.
It’s in eating regular meals that you’ll start to recognize how in control of your energy you are and learn how to fill up your energy bank.
Don’t overthink it, or overanalyze it, but plan for it. Remember, health, eating well, and moving doesn’t have to come from a place of scarcity but that of abundance. A means of filling you with energy, not depleting you.
Being intentional about meal time means planning and prepping for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Not forgetting any meal but desiring to use that time to recharge your tank.
Stop fixating on what is good or bad and come back to a place of balance—of filling, nurturing, and providing safety though taking care of your body. Start to think, what things would fill me up? How could I nourish my body, not in a means to control my destiny but to use it to recharge my batteries?

If you can’t imagine yourself doing that, here are a few other ways to step into energy abundance this summer, bringing your body back into balance.
- Try yoga this summer, focusing on slow dynamic movements.
- Get creative in the kitchen and toss out the recipe book, and allow your skills to shine through recipe creation.
- Be intentional with social gatherings.
- Pick up a hobby you’ve always enjoyed and stick with it.
Change your focus to what energy you’re lacking and start to see energy in abundance. Most importantly, do more of what fills you up.
