Enneagram Type 6, you are considered the loyalist. You are committed and responsible with a strong drive for safety. But, have you ever considered how this relates to your health? Learn what this means inside.
Six’s, you are the loyalist. You are reliable, responsible, hard-working, and trustworthy—all as a means to secure safety in your life. You naturally have eyes to see threats and dangers, while this is a strength, it can also bring anxiety. This summer, what if you could start to see life in a new light – or at least your place in life?
While I never want to take away the fact that you notice threats, seeing threats all day can deplete your energy levels. You certainly shouldn’t feel subject to living here because you fear other people won’t be on alert. Instead, I challenge you to step into a space of recognizing the fears without feasting on them.
To stop spending so much energy and time worrying about situations that are relatively out of your control. Instead, use that energy to fill yourself and live in abundance to who you are.
six’s summer challenge
This summer, your challenge is to stop letting your strength override your fear and take an adventure. I know you’ve been thinking about something that could propel you forward, but it comes with a risk. Whatever it is, may the reward in the risk be greater than the fear.
Even if that means taking an adventure you’ve wanted, starting a project you’ve put off, or jumping into a new hobby.
The only way to get over the fear is to allow yourself to step into it. Stop sitting on the sidelines of your life and your health. Be gentle with yourself and positively coach yourself into letting the strong, passionate you shine.
You are smart, you are capable, and you are worthy. May this be the summer you take a leap – even if it seems relatively insignificant to the world around you. Any risk is significant in helping to create trust inside your body.
Stop blocking your energy by fixating on the fear. Instead, open up to the abundant energy inside by choosing instead to focus on the reward.
additional healthy rhythms
If you’re not yet comfortable with taking a risk, try one of these rhythms that will help you tap back into the abundant energy flow that is inside of you.
- Try something new each week, even if it’s as simple as a recipe.
- Pick up a good book and dig in.
- Get into an exercise rhythm that will help fill you with energy.
- Start a personal project you’ve been putting off and commit to finishing it.
Create trust with yourself and start to recognize how many things and fears in life are depleting you. Start to shed anything that isn’t serving you and do more of what fills you up.
