You are genuinely receptive, accepting, and emotionally stable. So much so that you often suppress your own feelings, lacking a sense of awareness to fight for peace. While we love this about you – we don’t want you to stop loving yourself for other people.
That is the easy trap for the nine to get into – giving so much to other people they are too exhausted to give back to themselves. But I want you to remember that the only way you can fill someone up is first to fill yourself. To come to health not as another exhausting task that you don’t enjoy but to find comfort and life inside of it.

how to get healthy – type 9’s
Nine’s you are the peacemakers – the mediators. You crave harmony, comfort, and peace so much you take it upon yourself to hold onto emotions to make right what others see is wrong. You put so much focus on loving other people and caring for them that you forget you too have needs.
Nine’s, you are often out of touch with yourself and are so exhausted you don’t care to know. But I think deep down it is inside of you to want to be healthy. Not necessarily to look good but to feel good. Unfortunately, the world has convinced you the only way to this is a massive expenditure of energy you don’t have.
This sets you up to believe your biggest lie; that it’s not worth the energy for something you don’t believe you can achieve anyways.
Nine’s, you’ve believed the lie that there is something inherently wrong with yourself – and the only way to fix that is to fix other people. But it’s time to take the focus off them and turn it back on yourself. To see the same thing you see in other people – love, health, and comfort.
You don’t have something that needs to be fixed – you need to be filled.
Today, I want you to switch your focus from making right what is wrong to loving yourself like you love everyone else. To believe that you are worth taking care of, spending time and money on, and in this, you can not just fill yourself, but you can fill up everyone whom you love as well.
Nine’s you are deeply rooted in comfort, stability, and harmony. Instead of fearing health will take your energy – focus on what will provide more. Use your strengths as you work on your own health to make health not just another exhausting thing you do but who you are.

As a nine, you have a strong desire to bring peace and comfort to the world. So much so, that you expend all of your energy helping other people and carrying the stress and weight of keeping life harmonious. But what you fail to recognize is while this may be keeping external peace – it is causing internal turmoil.
As a nine, you naturally tend toward going with the flow of what others want. This adaptability is a strength, but as you can imagine, it can also be a hindrance. Instead of focusing so much on what you should and shouldn’t be doing – that you have a problem that needs to be fixed – I wonder what could change if you started to recognize the beautiful things about your body.
That healthy eating is less about what you shouldn’t eat and more about getting enough of the good stuff. It’s what you do most of the time – to fill yourself up. It’s about the small, everyday shifts that start by recognizing what your body needs.
Here are five ways to achieve healthy rhythms
1. learn about yourself
As a nine you are more like every other type but a nine. In a sense, you’ve lost yourself in others, distracting from the work that needs to be done within. It’s time to learn about yourself – sign up for therapy or commit to daily journaling to learn dig deep into who you are and what it is you want in life.
2. enlist a friend
Nine’s tend to morph into whoever or whatever they spend their time. Take this back into your own hands and create a healthy space within your relationships. Start a book club, find a walking buddy or enlist help in eating healthy. The more accountability and joy you can bring to health the more likely you will be to stick with it.
3. eat nourishing comforts
Is your definition of nourishing wrong? Nourishing is not what brings you instant comfort but lasting health and comfort. It’s what makes you feel good. Start to dig into how you can combine what you like with what makes you feel good. Look at the foods you eat and think about what can you add that would make it more nourishing – filling you all while enjoying what you eat.
4. establish an evening routine
Nothing satisfies more than getting out of your own stress. But the comfort of a Netflix binge is temporary. Instead, focus on what is lasting and that is caring for yourself. Create an evening routine including a routine bedtime and stick to it.
5. avoid over-scheduling
It’s easy for a nine to want to fill everyone up and attend to every need of the ones they love. But make sure you have necessary and defined boundaries in place. Don’t allow yourself to say yes to everything. Go back and under schedule your life, creating priorities that are linked to your own healing. Times of solitude, times of rest and stay true to what your body is asking.

Nine’s with wing one have a strong sense of planning. Or planning to ease the chaos and exhaustion. Even if you don’t have a wing one, I wonder if making simple lists of tasks to be achieved and watching yourself achieve them to be a reminder that you are capable of health.
