So I’m that crazy mom, you know the one who hates seeing her child put any morsel of food that doesn’t meet my standards in their mouths. Yes, it happens more often than I would like and sometimes I look the other way but other times I take charge. And now that my oldest is in preschool and getting exposed to the big world, I have realized how many situations our children are exposed to sugar. Rewards, parties (lets be honesty it is someones birthday all the time) and holidays are all prime times for excess sugar to enter her little body and our home. So I thought being the crazy mom I am and share with you many healthy sugar free valentines or even better food free valentines that I found from around the web.
One of my favorites, possibly because I am craving everything cheesy at the moment. Let’s Stick Together Valentines.
Always a favorite in our house, anything crafty and a pencil will do. You’re All Write Valentines.
I would totally be digging it if someone gave me this Valentine. Although this could add up, maybe a good gift for teachers? We Were Meant To BEE Friends Valentine.
How are people so creative? Although this may not fit through the typical Valentine Mailbox. It would still suffice in my book. Orange You Glad We’re Friends Valentine.
This again is very cute. I would especially love to see whatever child had to carry these to school. Talk about a hefty backpack. Fresh Fruit Valentines.
This one was our oldest’s favorite. Possibly because she is obsessed with these applesauce snacks. I really think it is just the ability to squeeze it out of the pouch and right into her mouth. Genius, pure genius on the development of squeeze foods. You’re My Main Squeeze Valentines.
Again, another one of my favorites. I probably would have the most fun making these cute little crayons but more reason to give it a shot sometime. Plus a good way to use up all the stubby and broken crayons no one ever seems to use anymore. Heart Crayon Valentines.
A noodle necklace, o elementary school love. I would keep it wouldn’t you? You Make Me Lose My Noodle.
Colorful, meaningful and PRACTICAL! Momma’s not going to throw this one away! You Make The World Colorful Valentine.
And last but not least, glow sticks. Are these safe? Who knows but I’m sure every kid would be ecstatic to receive this valentine. Live life dangerously. You Make My Heart Glow Valentine.
How cool are these. Seriously people are super creative! And this would be one happy momma and one happy girl to receive something other than the traditional sugar laden treats (that she probably will never see again once it comes in our house). Poor girls…
